What is the basic principle behind IPG’s work?

  • Generating NEW customers is hard work – you know that for a fact.  It’s also expensive and it can be ‘hit and miss’. 
  • As an operator you’ll know only too well how expensive advertising can be, how you have to pay upfront and in advance, and how you’re never certain you’ll get even so much as one additional player out of it.
  • I bet you’ve often thought how nice it would be to pay only on results… Well IPG takes it one step further than that and will actually send you players for no charge whatsoever!
  • When IPG directs players your way, all it asks is that you waive the entry fee and provide the first 100 paintballs to each of these players free of charge.
  • IPG conducts the marketing, bears all that risk and covers the full cost of it.  You receive customers free of all marketing costs and you make your profit on selling them 100’s of extra paintballs, gloves, grenades, lunch, snacks, drinks and so on.

How does it work in practice?

  • IPG sells tickets to members of the public using a direct sales team in conjunction with many different marketing channels.
  • IPG also operates a call centre/booking office to process and encourage people to use the tickets they’ve purchased.
  • When the customer is ready to use their tickets, IPG will collect from them a booking fee of $10 per person. This is explained to the customer as being “the pre-payment for their initial 100 paintballs so that there is less queuing on the day”.
  • IPG co-ordinates the date of the game with you and then sends the players to your field.
  • On the day of the event, you supply these players with entry, equipment and 100 paintball per person at no charge to the player or to IPG.
  • These players then buy from you all the additional paintballs they require for the day, lunch, gloves, grenades, snacks and drinks, upgraded guns etc.
  • IPG retains the proceeds of sale from the tickets and booking fee.  You retain the proceeds of sale from all the items purchased from you on the day.

What would your commitment be?

  • The tickets IPG sells have a 12 month ‘use-by’ date. For this reason and to give us both a clear year for the promotions to be conducted, we ask for a 24 month agreement that you will accept these extra players.
  • Our feeling is however that once you have experienced a positive increase in player numbers, you will want to extend the agreement beyond this initial term.
